The federal government offers two internship programs: Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP) and Student Career Experience Program (SCEP). Both programs offer paid work experience for current students who will return to school after completing STEP or SCEP. Graduates are not eligible to apply. Students who complete a required number of SCEP hours may be eligible for permanent employment.
