One position:  

Sustainable Community Development

The Department of Planning, Public Policy & Management (PPPM) at the University of Oregon is seeking a tenure track Assistant Professor to begin in fall 2010, with teaching responsibilities in our master's program in Community & Regional Planning (CRP) and our undergraduate program. We are seeking an interdisciplinary individual with primary research and teaching interests in sustainable community development with a sub-focus in one or more of the following areas:
*Housing and Community Development
*Downtown Redevelopment
*Urban ecology, working landscapes and/or ecosystem services
Candidates who can teach in the planning core and in the following areas are also highly desirable: planning law, nonprofit management, natural resources and open space, planning methods, research methods and transportation. We are especially interested in candidates who address equity and diversity issues in their teaching and research.
