The PPPM Department offers a range of degrees in planning, public administration and not-for-profit management. Our curriculum emphasizes experiential learning, evidence-based decision making and interdisciplinary study. The faculty are internationally recognized scholars, with a wide range of training and research interests. Our expertise and research interests fit five main focal areas that students benefit from. Our home in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest, builds off the region’s international reputation for livability, pioneering planning, and innovative policy.

Life In Eugene

Eugene is an active and engaged community know for its arts and outdoors. It is located approximately one hour from the Oregon Coast, the Cascade mountains and the City of Portland. The City has numerous trails, parks and open space, and is regularly ranked as one of the most livable cities in the United States.
