The Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management at University of Oregon is designed to provide students with administrative skills that are specific to the nonprofit sector, such as fundraising, nonprofit financial management, board governance, and grant proposal writing.
Our graduates take positions in a wide variety of nonprofit sectors, including arts, environment, human services, advocacy, animal welfare, etc. They take a variety of positions, with the most common being development directors, program officers, and development associates.
Most of our students have some existing experience in the nonprofit sector. For the few who don't (career changers), we strongly recommend completing at least one internship at a nonprofit as part of the Certificate coursework
