PPPM Phd candidate Kaushal Sapkota will host a public defense of his dissertation on May 26 at 7 am PST. His dissertation, titled The Context of Service: Unpacking the Formal Volunteering Behavior of University Students of Nepal, explores why university students in Nepal volunteer, why some don't, and how their institutions shape those decisions. The work draws on surveys and interviews of numerous students across 14 campuses in Kathmandu. Kaushal will be hosted on Zoom and anyone interested in attending will need to get the Zoom link from the PPPM support staff by emailing pppmsupport@uoregon.edu.
